Touring Car Trophy Reglement
2021
1.0 Description
The Touring Car Trophy will be held as part of the RACE CAR SERIES 2021.
The DMC Technical Regulations generally apply, with the deviations described below.
2.0 participants
All drivers can participate in the Race Car Series.
A DMC membership/license is not mandatory; in this case, the organizing club will charge an additional fee for participant insurance, and a ranking for the SK West is not provided.
2.1 Mention
Entries for the individual qualifying races must be sent directly to the race organizer; the entry deadline is Wednesday at 24:00 before the race weekend.
2.2 Entry fee
The entry fee for adults is €25.
The entry fee for young people under 18 years of age is 15 euros.
For those entering multiple classes, the second entry fee is €15.
Drivers without a DMC license will be charged an additional insurance fee of €5.
3.0 Chassis and Body
All chassis variants/manufacturers/custom builds with wheelbases up to 535mm and widths up to 395mm are permitted. All DMC and EFRA legal touring car bodies available through specialist retailers are also permitted.
3.1 Paint finishes
The bodywork must be painted, and the aim is to maintain as much fidelity to the original as possible. A resemblance to original designs is expressly desired to create a visually appealing driving appearance for the model vehicles.
The issued starting number fields must be used with the starting number assigned to the driver. Additionally, the sun visor on the windshield should display the Race Car Series logo.
4.0 engines
All 1-cylinder 2-stroke combustion engines with a maximum displacement of 23cc are permitted.
The models must be equipped with an intake noise filter and a noise-reducing resonance silencer. Engine tuning is permitted.
4.1 Silencer and Airbox
Only components with valid DMC homologation are permitted.
For the homoligation list, see the DMC Handbook 2021.
All accessories and tuning parts available through specialist retailers are also permitted.
4.2 Safety equipment
Front bumper, brakes, engine kill switch, etc. must comply with the current DMC regulations 2021.
5.0 tires
According to the valid DMC regulations.
5.1 Rain tires
In rain or wet conditions, the choice of tires is unrestricted. Carrying and using any tire lubricants or traction compounds is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification from the Race Car Series.
6.0 Race Mode
Saturday: free practice or group training, depending on the schedule and coordination with the other race teams, at least one preliminary heat can be run on Saturday.
At least three heats will be run, with the best result counting towards the final standings. The heats will be scored based on laps and time.
Based on the preliminary rankings, participants will be divided into sub-finals. Depending on the number of participants, A, B, C, etc. finals will be held. The organizer reserves the right to adjust the running time of the sub-finals (15 minutes) and the final (30 minutes) according to the schedule, depending on the number of participants.
7.0 ratings
All participants with a DMC license receive points towards the West Sports District Championship at races in the West Sports District.
7.1 Point allocation

8.0 Schedule
Saturday: Depending on the number of participants, the organizing club will determine the exact training times; break regulations/rest periods must be strictly observed. Sunday: Drivers' briefing / Heats / Finals / Awards ceremony (exact schedule depending on the organizing club/number of participants/weather conditions)
9.0 Violations
Violations of these regulations and unsportsmanlike conduct will be punished with disqualification from the run or race, or exclusion from the ranking.
10.0 Award ceremony
Trophies for P1-3, plus a prize from a raffle for the participants who are present at the time of the raffle.

The entry fee for young people under the age of 18, - 15 euros.
For double starters in other classes, the second entry fee is € 15.

All chassis variants / manufacturers / self-made with wheelbases up to 535mm and 395mm wide are permitted. All DMC and EFRA legal touring car bodies are permitted which are available from specialist dealers.

5.1 Rain tires
The choice of tires is free in rain or wet conditions. Carrying and any use of tire lubricants or adhesives is strictly prohibited and leads to exclusion from the Race Car Series
6.0 racing mode
Saturday free training, depending on the schedule and coordination with the other racing classes, Saturday can be run at least 1 pre-run.
At least 3 preliminary runs will be driven, of which the best will be scored. The heats are scored according to laps and time.
The sub-finals are divided according to the preliminary ranking. Depending on the number of participants, A; B; C ... Finale extended. The organizer reserves the right, depending on the number of participants, to adjust the duration of the subfinals (15min) and (finals 30min) to the schedule.
7.0 ratings
All runners with a DMC license receive points for the West Sports Circle Championship in races in the West Sports Circle.
7.1 Awarding of points

8.0 Schedule
